First test of Campark x5 action cam mounted on my Dyad e-trailbike handlebar.

The cam-created video is huge at 2520p – 6.55Gb for 32mins total runtime, yikes! – so I re-encoded at 1080p/h265 and got it down to 885Mb with no real loss to visual quality (SD version here on YT looks terrible tho lol). I also removed the audio track as all you could hear from the built-in mic was amplified rattles of the sealed waterproof cam mount & vibrations of the e-bike itself. 😛

EIS was enabled, but still a bit shaky on rocky trails in Mount-Royal park here in Montreal… to be expected though as rocks & roots do tend to shake things up a bit lol. Next test will be with the cam mounted on my helmet; with a bit o’ luck, should be a bit better. 🙂

First 4 minutes is me just getting to the park, and I stopped for a wee break around the 25min mark thinking the cam was off, so you get a nice view of my pretty legs too. 😀
